Out in Tech

Some people enjoy skiing, or playing video games, I enjoy volunteering. I've been taught at an early age to always fight for the underdog, serve your community, and build others up for the great good of the team.

At Out In Tech I coordinate various in-person and virtual events. I am on the Denver leadership team, I manage the UI/UX community within OIT which consists of making sure over 400 members are actively engaged, and I mentor college students through Out In Tech U.

Queer America

Queeramerica.co is a e-commerce site that I built back in 2017. The site is built on Shopify and the print vendor I use is printful. I hold no inventory whatsoever. Between April and Aug (pride season) we post ads on instagram and facebook. We determined our target audience and post shirts that are centric towards them. We gain pretty solid traction every year, enough to make a nice income each pride season.

GLBT Center on Colfax

I've been volunteering every Tuesday evening for the past 3 years. I am a front desk volunteer at the GLBT Center on Colfax. Here, I greet guests, give tours, answer phone calls, and support staff as needed. I also support events in the community such as Denver Pride Fest.
